Ru Paul Upstages GOP Candidates in New Hampshire, “I’m not Ron Paul!”
January 7, 2012 – 11:01 pm | Comments

After many Ron Paul signs were defaced in New Hampshire to read, “Ru Paul for President” – Ru Paul and his marketing team found it to be a perfect fit to spread the Ru love and message. (I’d say, ‘Peace. love and hair grease’, but that was the 90′s!)

RuPaul explained to POLITICO “I’m going to N.H. on a mission to spread love and set the record straight: contrary to recent reports, I am NOT Ron Paul. And I am not running for president of the United States. I hope to meet Ron Paul in person so we can be seen together to put the rumors to rest once and for all. And to remind Mr. Paul and all the Republican presidential candidates ‘if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love somebody else. Can I get an ‘Amen?’”

As you’ll see in the video below, Ru’s message didn’t stray when visiting the locals at the Red Arrow Diner in Manchester, New Hampshire. A friend to the magazine (Patti Linnett-Tuttle, whose daughter appears with Paul in the above photo) filled us in on the details, saying, “Ru came to the Red Arrow diner to shake hands and kiss babies!”

Of course this is great timing for the world’s first drag queen Super Model – Ru Paul’s Drag Race premieres season 4 on LOGO January 30.
