Special Video Showing for LGBT Month: Outrage ‘69

This engrossing documentary delves into the period when raids and police harassment of gay bars were common. In one such raid in New York City, patrons fought back and protested. This pivotal event, which became known as the Stonewall Riot, sparked an international gay rights movement. The film examines the heady early days of queer liberation and the efforts to build a multi-issue, multi-racial, militant struggle.

An appetizing seasonal supper, with vegan option, will be served at 6:30pm for a $5.00 – 8.00 donation. The meeting is free and will be held at Bread and roses Center, 819 N. Killingsworth St., Portland (on bus lines #4 and #72). All genders welcome. Childcare available.

For information, rides or childcare, call in advance (503) 240-4462 or email Radical Women
