You may have never heard of them…or you may have been to one or two…but one things is for sure, the Inferno is continuing to blaze! Hot Flash Dance Parties celebrates its Portland six year anniversary this year – six years of providing women a safe and vibrant place to get their groove on and just have a blast!
Pauline Miriam started the Hot Flash Dance Parties in 2004 and has been so successful that she hosts them in six cities in the Pacific NorthWest…Portland, Eugene, Olympia and Seattle are on the roster currently, and Miriam plans on adding more.
At one time, the events were aimed at filling a void for women and lesbians in their late 3o’s or 40’s, but not anymore! According to our sources, the parties aren’t for ladies 35 and older any more which means they really have caught ablaze. The official site says that everyone is welcome, although you do have to be female, but F2M’s are welcome as long as they self-identify at the door.
