Starkys_ThumbStarky’s Restaurant and Lounge

Starky’s has been a SE neighborhood favorite since the 1984 with amazing dinner fare and top-knotch burgers and sandwiches. The lounge is stocked to the roof with the ingredients for any hard-to-please palette.

Owners Joe and Greg are great hosts, buying the restaurant in September of 2004, they oversee the operation and are as friendly and approachable as the cast of “Cheers,” and it really is a place where “everybody knows your name.” We personally recommend the Oregon Pasta for dinner, and the Starky’s burger and fries for lunch, the burgers being bigger than you’d find elsewhere!

FAQ of the ideals Program

How does this work?

We have partnered with local Oregon retailers, restaurants and other businesses to provide this saving to our readers. Browse what’s available, and shop! We will mail your certificate in the mail the next day after your purchase; please allow 3 days for delivery.

What if I have a problem, who do I call?

Contact id Magazine through our contact page immediately. We recommend you do not contact the businesses if you have a problem with the site or getting your purchase. Our partners have one role only: redeeming the certificates.

When I click to buy, I get a Whiplash Design Paypal or another site comes up to buy, why is this?

This program payments are being handled by our parent company Whiplash Design while the magazine’s corporation paperwork is finalized. With some partners (like Michelle Lagos’ Hair Salon gift certificate) they prefer to handle their transactions on their own service. All are secure payment systems.

What happens if I never get my certificate?

Contact us immediately here if you do not receive your certificate in the mail within the 3 day time-span. After we review your circumstances, we will issue you a replacement.

I purchased one, but the business did not redeem it, what now?

This is doubtful, all businesses have signed contracts to do their part: honor and redeem the certificates. They want you to come back to their business, that is one of the goals, return customers!
