Transgender Day of Remembrance

id Magazine joins many today focusing on the 100’s of people who have died because they were transgender. We are progressing as a society and community in passing laws that make it it illegal to discriminate against and enact hate crimes against those who are transgender. However, as a community we all need to explore and educate ourselves on transgender issues, what it means to be transgender and therefore be accepting of our brothers and sisters who make up this part of our community.
